Dear all,

I would like to know about the two options available for CCVP Certification and i want to know which is in the demand as you can go either for Unified Communication Manager or CAll manager exam.
Can anyone please let me know which one is better.

Also I have passed CCNA a Week ago. What are the opportunities for CCNA professionals?

Many thanks.
Waiting for ur reply

Hello Ashish.

I guess I'll start with your second question first. What kind of position(s) can you get with just CCNA? unfortunately, none.

CCNA it self will not land you a job, your going to diversify your skills set along with certifications. You should use CCNA as a starting point.

Second, your first question is some what vague, it's not very clear. Now If I understood you right, your asking if you should go with unified communication manager and/or call manager. Actually they are both the same thing. Unified Communication manager used to be called Call Manager.

My advice to you first define your career path in IT sector. If you want to persue voice, then start with CCNA Voice then work way your way to the top, CCVP and CCIE.

You can get these training directly from Voicebootcamp.

We are offering CCNA regular & CCNA Voice for $2499USD only.
That means if you dont have a CCVP prerequisite there is no problem because we can help. You can also complete yoru CCVP with is and get CCIE for free.

Remember, CCVP Plus is the best way to start if you want to become a UC engineer and expert.

Hi All,

So CCVP has two volumes right now one is in call manager 4 which is call manager and one is in Call Manager 6.X i.e Unified communication manager. So CCVP in Call Manager 4 is valid till December. From January 2010 CCVP in call manager 4 will not be available in cisco site.

So which volume is better in CCVP that should be CCVP in call manager 6.

Hi Ashish,

Amit Raj is very right, the diffrence only is older and new course, Cisco always changes it course version as soon as they launch new ver. of that device,

Call Manager and Unified communication manager are both Call Agents and CUCM 6 or 7 is latest and gratest

So, go with flow and opt new one..
