connecting 1811 to 7940

I am trying to find out if i can actually connect my 7940 to 1811 router since its ESW is not POE.I got a 2610xm where the phone will be getting its config from. am trying to know the best way to go'bout it. Thanks

Hi,

As per my knowledge cisco 1811 and 2600 are not capable for PoE, you have to provide power to ip phone through adapter.

Use same router for CME and Configuration file, and choose correct voice supportable IOS.
